Read all of this leaflet carefully before you take this medicine because it contains important information you need to know.


This medicine is available without prescription, however, you still need to use this product carefully to get the best results from it.

What this medicine is for



This medicine contains:



  • hops


  • passion flower


  • valerian

They are all sedatives which help you sleep.


These tablets are a traditional herbal remedy to soothe and so aid restful sleep.




Before you take this medicine



Do not take:



  • If you are allergic to any of the ingredients


  • If you are taking propanolol (high blood pressure medicine) – you may experience visual disturbances such as blurred vision


  • If you are taking medicines to make you sleepy


  • If you suffer from depressive illnesses.



Talk to your pharmacist or doctor:


  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding



Other important information



Do not drink alcohol (beer, wine, spirits etc), as there is a possibility of an additive effect.


These tablets might cause drowsiness which may last into the following day. If affected do not drive or operate machinery.





How to take this medicine


Check the foil is not broken. If it is do not take that tablet.




Adults: Take two tablets, 1 hour before you go to bed.



Swallow each tablet whole with water.


Do not chew.


Do not give to children.


Do not take more than the amount recommended.



If you take too many tablets: Talk to a pharmacist or doctor straight away. Take your medicine and this leaflet with you.




Possible side effects


Most people do not have any side effects while taking this medicine. However, if you experience any of the following side effects, or anything else unusual happens, stop taking the medicine immediately and see your doctor or pharmacist.



Rare side effects are:


  • stomach cramps

  • feeling sick and vomiting (being sick)

  • gastro-enteritis (inflammation of the stomach and intestines)

  • diarrhoea

  • fever

  • headache

  • palpitations

  • faintness.




How to store this medicine


Do not store above 30ÂșC.


Keep this medicine in a safe place out of the sight and reach of children, preferably in a locked cupboard.


Use by the date on the end flap of the carton.




What is in this medicine


Each tan coloured, film coated tablet contains the active ingredients: extract of Hops equivalent to 200 mg, extract of Passion Flower equivalent to 130 mg, extract of Valerian equivalent to 160 mg.


The other ingredients are: calcium hydrogen phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose (E460), maltodextrin, colloidal anhydrous silica, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, hypromellose (E464), polyethylene glycol, iron oxides (E172), titanium dioxide (E171).


This product is available in a pack size of 30 tablets.
